As part of KIOSH 2026, the Republican Research Institute for Occupational Safety conducted a practice-oriented seminar titled
“First Aid in Production Facilities and Sites: Master Training.”
The seminar was aimed at improving workers’ readiness to respond in emergency situations at production sites,
as well as developing practical skills in providing first aid before the arrival of medical services.

During the master training, participants were demonstrated modern algorithms for providing first aid,
including Basic Life Support (BLS), assessment of a victim’s condition,
and the sequence of actions in emergency situations at the workplace.
Special attention was given to hands-on practice,
enabling participants to minimize risks to life and health before emergency specialists arrive.
The seminar confirmed that basic first aid skills are an integral part of the occupational safety system
and a critically important element of ensuring safety at production sites.
