The Digital Family Map currently contains up-to-date and detailed information on 6.2 million families and households across Kazakhstan. Data from more than 30 state information systems are used to produce an objective and accurate assessment. This was officially announced by representatives of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan at a briefing at the Central Communications Service.
The methodology for determining the current level of social well-being provides for a comprehensive assessment of two key aspects: material well-being and overall social resilience.
The first component includes 59 indicators covering six different areas of life. These include financial situation, current employment, movable and immovable property, vehicles, business activity, agricultural assets and citizens’ existing loan obligations.
All the necessary information comes directly from reliable state databases. Based on all this information, the country’s households are divided into five clear categories – from A to E. The category is taken into account only when determining eligibility for those payments for which the principle of need is established by law.
