RNIIOT representatives A. Erkinbekova and Zh. Yesbenbetova took part in the ISAF International 2026 exhibition. They became acquainted with modern technologies and international approaches in occupational safety and health, industrial safety and fire safety.
The main focus was on preventing occupational injuries, managing occupational risks, ensuring safe working conditions and introducing modern technical means of worker protection. Of particular interest were solutions aimed at early detection of hazardous situations and prevention of fires and accidents.
The following areas were reviewed:
🔹 fire detection and prevention systems for industrial facilities;
🔹 the use of artificial intelligence and intelligent video surveillance;
🔹 digitalization of safety monitoring and control at production sites;
🔹 safety assurance during high-risk work;
🔹 personal protective equipment for workers: testing, conformity assessment and certification;
🔹 developing a safety culture and increasing management involvement in occupational safety and health.
The information obtained is of practical value for research in occupational safety and health and occupational risks. It will be used in analyzing methods of hazard identification and prevention, improving approaches to working conditions assessment, and applying international experience in the Institute’s work.
