From 1 January 2027, the conditions for granting certain budget-funded benefits related to the birth of a child and subsequent childcare will directly take into account the family\u2019s current well-being category. At the same time, insurance payments from the State Social Insurance Fund (SSIF) and standard budget-funded benefits have entirely different legal grounds.<\/p>\n
In particular, the one-off budget-funded childbirth benefit is provided for families in categories C, D and E. For non-working mothers, a budget-funded childcare benefit for children up to one and a half years old will also be granted on the basis of need. These budget-funded payments are not provided by law for high-income families in categories A and B.<\/p>\n
At the same time, the one-off pregnancy and childbirth payment from the compulsory social insurance system remains in full regardless of the family\u2019s overall category<\/strong>, provided there is a legal entitlement to it.
