Kazakhstan is changing the current conditions for granting certain types of state benefits: from 1 January 2027, a comprehensive assessment of family need will apply to 14 types of payments. Representatives of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan explained the details and essence of the new approach at a briefing at the Central Communications Service.<\/p>\n
Whereas previously the right to a number of benefits was determined mainly by whether a person belonged to a particular formal social category, now an objective assessment of the well-being of the entire household will also be taken into account for the payments established by law.<\/p>\n
For families in categories A and B, the procedure for granting certain types of benefits is being revised. At the same time, families in categories C, D and E fully retain their legal right to support measures, provided they meet the established conditions.<\/p>\n
The changes do not affect all areas of social assistance: 22 of the 36 types of budget-funded benefits will continue to be granted in the same fixed manner, regardless of the family\u2019s overall level of material and social well-being.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
